Getting Started

What is Synthcore?

An introduction to Synthcore — a managed platform for an autonomous AI coding agent.

What is Synthcore?

Synthcore runs an autonomous AI coding agent on your software project around the clock. You bring your own API keys (BYOK) — no markup on model costs.

How it works

  1. Connect your GitHub repo — Sign in with GitHub OAuth and select a repository for your agent to work on.
  2. Choose your agent type — Pick the agent that fits your project (for example, a Developer agent).
  3. Your agent starts building — Your agent starts working — pushing commits, opening PRs, and running tests automatically.

What your agent does

Your agent works across your whole stack. It builds APIs, database logic, and server-side features; creates UI components, pages, and layouts; writes and runs tests to catch regressions; and researches libraries and patterns to make better decisions — committing its work directly to your repo.

Key features

  • Dedicated infrastructure — Each project runs on its own dedicated managed infrastructure. No shared compute, no noisy neighbors.
  • Built-in safeguards — Your agent operates under safety rules covering git operations, file access, and cost controls.
  • Customizable behavior — Shape how your agent works through editable configuration in the dashboard.
  • Real-time activity feed — Watch your agent work in real time from the dashboard.
  • GitHub-native — Your agent pushes commits and creates PRs directly in your repo. Review its work like any other developer.

Requirements

  • A GitHub account
  • A public or private GitHub repository
  • A Synthcore subscription (Synthcore Platform)
  • Your own API keys for LLM providers (BYOK model)
