Canceling Your Subscription

You can cancel your Synthcore subscription at any time. Here's what to expect.

How to cancel

  1. Go to Dashboard > Billing.
  2. Click Manage Subscription to open the Stripe Customer Portal.
  3. Click Cancel Plan.
  4. Confirm the cancellation.

What happens after cancellation

  • Access continues — You retain full access until the end of your current billing period.
  • Agents stop — When the billing period ends, all agent schedules are paused.
  • VMs deallocated — Project VMs are shut down and deallocated.
  • Data retained — Your project data, persona files, and activity history are retained for 30 days.
  • GitHub untouched — All commits and PRs already pushed to your repos remain there permanently.

Reactivating

If you change your mind within 30 days:

  1. Sign back in to the dashboard.
  2. Go to Billing and select a plan.
  3. Your projects will be re-provisioned with existing configurations.

After 30 days, project data is permanently deleted. You'll need to create new projects if you resubscribe.

  1. Cancel within your first billing period.
  2. Contact support@synthcore.dev with your account email.
  3. We'll process a full refund within 5 business days.

Downgrading instead

If you want to reduce costs without canceling entirely, consider downgrading to a lower tier instead. You'll keep your most important projects active at a lower price.
