Why Synthcore exists
AI coding agents are powerful. They can write features, fix bugs, and ship pull requests faster than most humans. But running them in production? That's where things fall apart.
We learned this the hard way. After months of running autonomous coding agents on real codebases, we hit every failure mode: agents force-pushing to main, deleting production configs, running up thousands in API costs overnight, and committing code that passed tests but broke everything downstream.
The tools existed — Claude, GPT-4, open-source frameworks — but nobody had solved the operations problem. How do you actually run a team of AI agents on your codebase without something going catastrophically wrong?
That's what Synthcore is. Not another AI wrapper or framework. A managed platform with production safeguards built from real failures — git protections, cost controls, and human-in-the-loop gates. Every safeguard exists because something broke without it.
